Hi and the rest of the egroup

First, I'd like to thank everyone who have been sharing their experiences and

helpful articles to the group. While I have been very passive, I want you to

know that the digest i receive everyday are immensely helpful. I never fail to

pass new information and discovery to my partner who have been suffering from EN

the past 6 years. Thanks so much

Secondly, I'd like to share with you all my partner's wonderful experience.

After being dependent on Arcoxia & predinisone for a long time, she finally

eradicated arcoxia or other pain killers from her daily medicine. Dosage of

prednisone was also reduced to just 5-10mg per day. I noticed the nodules in her

legs, thighs and sometimes arms have become smaller than usual. We are ardently

hoping that she can eventually cut the dependency on prednisone. The success is

attributed to her daily intake of this probiotic supplement drink called

Lactovitale (www.lactovitale.com) and extra virgin coconut oil. Lactovitale is

a Philippine food supplement drink that inhibits growth of bad bacteria and

improve health condition. it is not technically a herbal drink nor does it have

therapeutic claims but it revitalize the immune system. i don't know if you can

buy the product from Filipino stores in the US but i think you can place orders

via the internet. On the other hand, extra virgin

coconut oil is widely available, i suggest you try it out. pls search the web

for articles on extra virgin coconut oil.

pardon for the lack of details, i got to get back to work. if you need further

details or have questions, just give me a buzz, i will try to respond when i

can.

cheers

Hello Jo

Yes they are both separate items. Pls check the www.lactovitale.com website for

more details on the product. I don't know if you have encountered the small

health drink, Yakult? Lactovitale is more potent version -- its mainly good

bacteria when you take that. As mentioned, Lactovitale is a Philippine product,

I think it's mainly sold in the Philippines. You can email them and ask if it is

possible to order directly from them. If you happen to be living in LA, Calif, I

suggest you check the Filipino stores, they might have it. A bottle of

Lactovitale cost around US$ 5 -- my partner consumes around 5-6 bottles per

month (a bottle is around 1 liter if I am not mistaken).

On the other hand, coconut virgin oil can be bought from in the internet - just

search for websites in the google or yahoo. Since Philippines is quite rich in

coconut trees and resources, we have readily available coconut oil for

consumption. A bottle of 150ml cost onl US$ 3-4. I heard that there are lots of

HIV positive and AIDS victims taking virgin coconut oil. Please make sure that

you buy the virgin coconut oil and not the pure coconut oil. I think extra

virgin coconut oil are being sold in USA, it shouldn't be hard for you to find

one. I think Lactovitale could be a problem, I just don't know if there are

similar health drink in USA.

Of course the quoted prices are all retail prices here in Manila, Philippines.

My partner has been taking prednisone for the longest time and we really want to

combat EN and eventually eradicate her dependency on medications. The

combination of the two has HELPED immensely -- not just in terms of her

well-being but also financially, the expenses incurred from lactovitale and

virgin coconut oil is far more cheaper than taking arcoxia everyday.

Personally, I take Lactovitale too. It has eradicated my vagina itching, reduce

my hemorroid swelling, and improve my sleeping habit. I take virgin coconut oil

too - it improved my metabolism, my skin, and reduce my dandruff problems (I put

virgin coconut oil directly to my hair scalps).

I will ask my Lactovitale dealer if there are ways of procuring the product if

you're living outside the Philippines. I will email you tomorrow and let you

know.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Jeanette

Hi Jeanette...

I'm really interested in what your friend is taking. If I understand correctly,

the Lactovitale and the extra virgin coconut oil are two separate items? Can

you get these at a health food store, or do you have to go to a special website

to ordre the Lactovitale?

Thanks for your help.....I'm down to 4 mg of Prednisone for a month, then next

month, 3 mg, then 2 and 1, etc..Hopefully I can get off of this stuff soon.

Thanks,

Jo
