Guest guest
Dr. Jacquelyn McCandless is a big fan of Lauricidin. I don't think there is anything wrong with trying it. I have read a couple of posts with gains, so I don't see why trying it would be bad. The sick feeling is common during antiviral therapy. I would probably keep going as long as your antifungal strategy seems to be working. If the stims continue to get worse you might consider trying Nizoral and see which works better... but from what your telling me I would be continuing to press forward if that was my child. You may want to move back to two pellets if you continue to see an increase in stims as days pass. Just my opinion. - Stan > > My 4 year old son has been on the SCD DIET for three months and did a > 30 day of Nystatin. He had a terrible die-off and then we switched to > Diflucan 2 weeks ago. Guest guest
My son was on Lauricidin for awhile. It tastes awful but can be hidden in fruit purees, nut butters, etc. My son is no longer on it because he refused to take it no matter how I hid it. Anyway, in the beginning, he did get a 48-hr virus w/a high fever and lethargy. In fact, he didn't get out of bed for twenty-four hours! It passed and we did see gains almost immediately. Unfortunately, I could not keep him on it.
