Invitation to formally join the group

To everyone in the listserve:

As was discussed in the telephone conference call tonight, it would be

helpful to know how many of " us " there are. There are some on the

e-mail listserve that post often, some who post occasionally and

probably many who read the posts but haven't posted any messages. While

we don't have a formal name for our group yet, we seem to share the

same desire to improve the practice of medicine through a practice

model that maximizes the time spent with patients and limits practice

expenses.

Therefore, we are asking members of the group to stand up and be

counted, so we can better define what it is we do and what makes our

kind of medical practices different from the mainstream practice

models. I have already begun compiling a list of people who have posted

in this listserve, which is available on Gordon 's practice

website: http://www.idealhealthnetwork.com/OtherProviders.html (click

on " Cutting Edge Doctor List " ). If there is information here that is

erroneous, or that you'd like removed, please let me know.

If you would like to be counted, please reply to this email with the

following information and I will capture it. It is also a way for us to

publicize our practices to each other, since every now and then we have

patients who move and want to find a new doctor:

scheduling, allocats patient payments, follows up on unpaid insurance

claims,...juices organic vegetables..etc)

8. In that the practice is incredibly efficient, patient oriented, evidence

based, electronically savvy, often answering my own phones etc it is like

Gordon's, but I do a lot of office procedures (dermatology, gynecology (IUD's,

soon colpo etc), I also provide all of my own inpatient coverage during the week

(I joined a call group of seven doctors who shared evening phone call and every

7th weekend inpatient coverage
