Your cosmetic surgeon was just telling you the simple unpleasant truth. In Lipodystrophy, the fat deposits are under the abdominal musculature, out of the reach of the "hoses" they use to suck fat with liposuction.

Worse, the fat is surrounding all kinds of delicate structures, and the crude punching and jabbing of liposuction would be like smashing through your computer's guts with a chainsaw.

It doesn't end there. After surgery, the fatty tissues in the abdomen tend to form scars, and these "adhesions" cause much pain, and impede the colon's function.

He charges about $500 per session. Be patient, he speaks very good English, he'll get back to you.

Dr Amard is a maxillo facial surgeon. He is very skilled. He will tell you if what you want is reasonable. I believe that he has done many people for what you want, off hand.
