That's kinda what I try to do. I work 30 hours a week at me "real" job and just opened my own company within the last 6 months or so. Because I've always been a "do-er" and a little high strung I try to be on the couch relaxing be 7-8. With this last episode I've been trying to rest by 5-6pm. I normally try to get between 7-8 hours a night. There have been times when dealing with EN that I can least for longer - my longest is 26 hours - ouch!. Anyway - thanks for the advice!

I wish I could get 8 hours of sleep per night. I wish

I could get 3 hours of sleep a night. I have terrible

insomnia and the stress I am under right now precludes

me from sleeping much at all and the sleep I get is

comprised of horrible nightmares. If I take an Ambien

I can sleep for several hours, but I can't take them

every night. In addition to everything else I am now

suffering from sleep deprivation when can be quite

serious. People tell me I look like I have risen from

the dead. I feel like it.

I sleep ok like 50% of the time. The other 50% is tossing and turning from joint soreness and hot sweats (the DR said that can be due to fever from EN). Its just after sleeping 7-8 hours I wake up and feel like I haven't slept more than 2-3. I think I look it too. Though most of my family and friends know about my EN problems and are a aware of the side effects. I suffered through about 4-5 weeks of it and felt better for a week or so and then got stressed with work, my own company, and having 100 people to my house for a pig roast on the 3rd. I was down for the count on the 4th and 5th - thank god I had time off. I've developped more bumps and feel like I got hit by a truck. I'm trying to rest more and get more sleep.

We do a pig roast every year. I love it. I love all the things I do. I just do to much sometimes. This may sound odd coming from a person who has EN but I won't let it stop me. Like I told my soon to be husband, "What should I limit? The working, cleaning, cooking, etc". Things have to get done. When I have a flare up I do let what can go go but sometimes things just have to be done.
