If your doctor has tested you for HAMA (human anti-mouse

antibodies), why would he even bother looking at your Hashi's

antibodies? Holy cow we're talking about the possibility of renal

cell carcinoma here...so I'd hope he'd concentrate on that instead

of the Hashi's! I can more then likely live a full life with

Hashi's and RA...the renal cell cancer...well that's a whole other

story.

Yes, it's mind boggling. As I told Sheila, I had never run across this

info, and there were many more studies cited to back it up. The security of

it all! Of course, I was concerned about what it all can do to the thyroid

function tests, but there are so many other autoimmune diseases out there

(and in here) to botch certain lab methods.

This I do not know, but I'm going to go snooping around for that one too.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've never had saliva tests for this.
