Guest guest
If your doctor has tested you for HAMA (human anti-mouse antibodies), why would he even bother looking at your Hashi's antibodies? Holy cow we're talking about the possibility of renal cell carcinoma here...so I'd hope he'd concentrate on that instead of the Hashi's! I can more then likely live a full life with Hashi's and RA...the renal cell cancer...well that's a whole other story. Guest guest
Yes, I remember hearing about his before. I wonder if it's true with thyroid salvia tests - versus the blood tests? Guest guest
Yes, it's mind boggling. As I told Sheila, I had never run across this info, and there were many more studies cited to back it up. The security of it all! Of course, I was concerned about what it all can do to the thyroid function tests, but there are so many other autoimmune diseases out there (and in here) to botch certain lab methods. Guest guest
This I do not know, but I'm going to go snooping around for that one too. Sounds like a good idea to me. I've never had saliva tests for this.
