LOL! Laxative effects??!?!!? Great! If it's not one thing, it's

another! Just can't win! And I agree . . . why don't these people

get their information straight? Four to six months is more like

it . . . and beyond! I'm going on 8 months . . . if you count the

healing time . . . still bruisy here. Can't wait to start seeing

some yellow! Thanks for the smile!

Liz,

You are soooo funny. I really enjoyed reading your post. You are right of

course. I've had a constant flare that kept spreading for over a year and

is now under control with Prednisone and Plaquinil. This thing just doesn't

respond to aspirin, ibuprophene or antibiotics. Wish that it did. As for

the licorice, well, I'll pass on that one... no pun intended.... hahaha

My rheumy was trying to tell me that it would go away on its own in 4-6 weeks and I was already in the 8th month or so. When I pointed that out he said "weeellllll some people take longer and it might come back!" By that time it was fading at least. I was in the "bruising" stage.
