Medicare

Hello

Question: If

someone who is on dialysis now and is not eligible for Medicare now because

they do not have the quarter will they be able to get Medicare once they are

transplanted. She is not 65 and do not have any other disability.

Thanks Beverly

Beverly,

She would still need to have the adequate work history showing in Social Security's records (quarters worked)(or drawn off spouse's work history) to become eligible if she receives a transplant.
