Guest guest
Dear Terri, Glad the weight is coming off, the cholesterol is down and that sugar is lower! I think the key to weight loss is simply eating less calories and burning more up...easier said than done, I know. I started walking again yesterday. I did 2 miles. So far the EN seems ok, and I hope the stocking keeps it away. The increased thyroid meds may help you lose even more weight ;-) Do you have a blood pressure machine at home? I find that I get " white coat " at the doctor's office, but am fine at home. Also if you check your presure at home, you will learn how to bring it down by relaxing. I didn't make this up. It is well documented that one can learn how to lower one's bp by taking it often. Next time you see the doc. give him our group's URL and webpages: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group http://www.geocities.com/erythema_nodosum/Home_Page.html as he may have other EN patients, or want to join himself. I have made print outs for my doctors who were pretty impressed with the resources available...and surprised that there was such a Group too. Have a Great Day!
