Guest guest
Well it has been 4 weeks exactly today since I took about 15 differant blood tests. Some of them were the ANA, sedrate, RA, ....DNA..can't remember them all. I called my docs office today to find out the results. For the first time since I have been seeing my primary since 1990, they wanted me to make an appointment with them to discuss the results. Don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing. I pray they finally found something out, but then again, if they did what is it? Oh well. The other hospital in the area is still on strike and we are way to busy to let me off this week so I'm going Monday morning. Besides, they said there was one more result they were waiting on and maybe by then it will be in. Here's hoping for answers. Zoo
Guest guest
Oh, Zoo . . . this can be exciting! I too hope you have some answers! Maybe even some answers for the rest of us!!! Saw my derm doc today . . . we both stated again that we never want to see each other again! =) We're going off ALL the meds!!! Very slowly, though. One less pill per week, starting Tuesday, when the prednisone is gone. When the anti-inflamatories are gone, we'll cut the SSKI in half for a week, then bid that farewell. Hopefully, I'll see some more fading . . . they're all still purple, but no lumps underneath . . . a little leery about that, but hoping for the best. I actually feel good today! Almost normal, although it's been so long since normal, I'm not sure what that is . . . but I felt good today, I'll take that!! Have a great night, everyone! Guest guest
Dear Zoo, I agree that a sed rate of 29 doesn't seem that high. Here is a link that shows a sed rate of 30 is normal for a 50 year old female. http://www.aafp.org/afp/991001ap/1443.html I love your sign off of " Shins up " ! That should be our motto!
