Guest guest
Can you send me a photo of your leg please? Jane fungus I need some suggestions please. I have been struggling with a spot on my leg for about 8 months now. Originally, I thought it was dry skin. It got bigger & bigger...itches like mad. I was told it was a skin infection & given antibiotics. Didn't do anything. Then, I tried various essential oils & lotions. It has done nothing but get bigger. My hubby's dr. was kind enough to look at it & said it was fungal. I have been on lamisil for 3 months & rubbing lamisil cream on it. It isn't as bad, has faded some but some days it flares up & turns red & itches like crazy. I would dearly love for someone to have a cure for this as the Dr.s don't know jack. Oh, went to another new Dr. about 3 mos. ago & he proceeded to give me a RX for MORE antibiotics. They won't listen. I know SOMEONE here knows what to do. On a brighter side, husband was diagnosed with cancer on his vocal cords. They lasered it off & he is now cancer free. No chemo or radiation! For anyone that would, please pray he can finally throw those ciggs away...They double the chance of it coming back. His name is Larry. Thanks, Vicki
Guest guest
Tee Tree Oil was the only thing that would kill a resistant form of ring worm that my daughter had as a teen. Even Lamisil did not work. She treated it for six months and it got worse until I finally got her to use Tee Tree, she hates the smell, but it cleared it up in short order. Ring worm is a fungus. Oregano oil is also a good anti-fungal. Garnet atoka atoka wrote: > > > I need some suggestions please. I have been struggling with a spot on > my leg for about 8 months now. Guest guest
Hi Vicki, I have had this dreaded fungal thing for about three years on my leg it goes away and then comes back itches badly and is very annoying until this year when i got the athletes foot infection from hell. Then both areas were really bad my feet were blistered and bleeding and the damn thing on my calf a round circle about the size of half dollar was itching like mad it got so bad it was affecting my ability to work . I went to the Doctor she had very little to offer a prescription cream and a scrip for some abx i used the cream and took the abx no help whatsoever . I tried all my my own bag of tricks first colloidal silver vinegar soaks tea tree oil I belong to a few list and asked everyone if they knew of something to try I was desperate here is what came up . Black Walnut oil on area with dmso to penetrate skin and nails . SSKI which is iodine solution on area oregano oil applied to the area I used the black walnut oil for a bit it seemed to do pretty good but was making my feet black and hard to see if the area was clearing up. I was a little Leary of using the dmso on the feet because of all the other stuff i had used on feet and shoes did not want that to transfer into skin . I ended up using the sski on the spot on calf and my feet and it worked finally i put the sski on a large band aid and left it on the circle on my calf the spot is still there but the itch is gone the feet have healed but i'm looking into something i can use daily so this does not come back this is what i used you milage may vary . if you have any questions feel free to email me Thoose damn smokes are tough it took me seven times to finally quit i got real sick with bronchitis and could hardly breathe and was down for a week and did not smoke and that did it Better Health AgainTed > > > > I need some suggestions please. Guest guest
Yes, this is true. I have also heard that H2O2 will kill fungus and also Colloidal Silver. I used Thyme Oil on my toenail fungus to good effect. Given my druthers, though, I think I would use Tea Tree (melaleuca) or Oregano which I was out of when I put it on my toenail. Guest guest
Hi Vicki, Did your husband try Lobelia to get rid of cigarettes? It seems to help some and it is inexpensive. Do some googling for coconut oil and you'll see it is anti-fungal. We eat it and use it for all kinds of skin problems too. Guest guest
Hi Ted I have suffered a serious case of Hong Kong Foot, which is a very serious form of athletes foot for 0ver 20 years. I have run the guantlet of everything I can think of in the alternative field. I refuse to go to any of the quacks. 3 weeks ago I decided to try another alternate remedy which was suggested and have to say I was ver skeptical. What was recommended was to soak my feet in fresh urine for an hour once or twice a day. Due to time constraints I could only do it once a day. I poured about 3/4 of a cup of just produced urine into my rubber boots and then slipped my feet into them. The liquid level raised to just below my ankles. I wore them for 3-4 hours as I sat at the computer keyboard. Then I took a shower and washed my feet carefully with Irish Spring bar soap. Dried them well and let air dry for over 1/2 an hour. Then I rubbed them well with VCO. Put on a light pair of cotton socks and went to bed and slept for my normal 8 hours. When I awoke that morning the iching/stinging was all but gone. I did the same procedure for only 6 days as I was unable to run the suggested 7-10 days. Anyway, long story short is that or the past 2 weeks I have been totally free of the incessant iching and the peeling skin between my toes and on the balls of my feet. I am about to repeat the protocol again to make sure that I got it all and then plan a one shot soak every 2-3 weeks and see how it works. You might try the urine on your leg also, or try 50/50 (volume) mix of of honey and cinnimon. Cheers, Doug Re: fungus > Hi Vicki, I have had this dreaded fungal thing for about three years on > my > leg it goes away and then comes back itches badly and is very annoying > until this year when i got the athletes foot infection from hell. Guest guest
Fungus often responds to iodine. If it were me, I'd try painting the area, then wet with DMSO. Guest guest
Olive leaf extract is an oral herb that kills fungus, virus, and microbes/bacteria if they are single-cell. It is an oral supplement and best taken on empty stomach or with one bite of food. Look for the kind that has the highest concentration of Oleuropein. 15% or better, as that is the active ingredient in the OLE that kills the bad guys. My son in law and a friend of ours in Calif both reported back to us that they had killed toenail fungus using it. They had the fungal condition for around 20 yrs before successfully ridding themselves of it. Gerry I need some suggestions please. Guest guest
You can go a step further. If (as they say) cancer is caused by a fungus, then why not use what the Italian doctor (expert at killing cancer) uses, sodium bicarbonate. Put it in distilled water (or CS) and try it. You can also use a little DMSO in the mix. That happens to be a cancer treatment that some have used. Arm N Hammer baking soda is the sodium bicarbonate. You want something without aluminum. > > I need some suggestions please. I have been struggling with a spot on my > > leg for about 8 months now. Originally, I thought it was dry skin. Guest guest
Oral, but definitely a fungus and candida killer. Works thru the bloodstream. You could use Pau D'Arco topically as it is liquid. Could be that grapefruit seed extract would do well too. It is both antiviral and antimicrobial. Not sure if GFSE is a fungus killer tho. Many herbal extracts have some antifungal properties tho. So they used the Olive leaf topically Gerry? ----- Original Message ----- > Olive leaf extract is an oral herb that kills fungus, virus, and > microbes/bacteria if they are single-cell. Guest guest
Olive Leaf also kills parasites, when taken in sufficient dosage. I keep chopped leaves around to make a strong decoction to drink if I get sick. It's easier on the stomach than capsules. I put plenty of honey and lemon in it and drink it all day long. To make a decoction you boil the tea for about 10-20 minutes, cover and let steep. Starwest Botanicals had a good price on it last Fall. It should be European and not domestic for the high oleuropien content. Garnet G Simpkins wrote: > > Oral, but definitely a fungus and candida killer. Works thru the > bloodstream. Guest guest
I had the same thing on my leg, scaly and itched like crazy. It was there several months. I was trying apple cider vinegar on my scalp (for itchiness) in the shower and decided to smear some on my leg. Within a short time (probably less than a week), it had quit itching. ACV is cheap, most folks have it on hand and worth a try. Janet Duncan I need some suggestions please.
Guest guest
Two more things to try - virgin cold-pressed coconut oil gets rid of itchy/scaly skin problems very quickly. And unflavored milk of magnesia. Apply one or the other topically. The coconut oil can make it sting/itch at first - that may be an indication it's working. At least that's how I took it because the next day it would be nice and comfortable. > > I had the same thing on my leg, scaly and itched like crazy. Guest guest
Yes. It is not unheard of that people who take it on an empty stomach pass worms. Many bitter herbs kill fungus as well as parasites. In the Bible, the hebrews were commanded to eat unleavened bread and bitter herbs for 7 days each spring. No yeast and no doubt, lots of anti-parsite and antifungal herbs. Quite a recipe for a springtime tuneup. Guest guest
I think I'll stay with the ACV. It's cheap, cheap, cheap, I have it on hand already and I know it works. Janet Duncan University of Southern Indiana - Go Eagles! If at first you don't succeed, try again. If you still don't succeed. Try again and again and again...Tippy and Jericho ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Tue, March 23, 2010 5:01:43 PM Subject: Re: fungus Two more things to try - virgin cold-pressed coconut oil gets rid of itchy/scaly skin problems very quickly. Guest guest
Yes, yes, and yes, it was in my situation, an overgrowth of candida, which is a term used to describe internal fungal infection. I take a medication, naltrexone, which encourages the body to become more acidic, a great enviornment for yeast to grow. These days I take three Cinimentine, aka tagamet, wally world stomach acid reducer, which is known to cause the body to become more alkaline, less acidic. Also a teaspoon of baking soda morning and night will help. Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed in eight ounces of tap water will work as well. Most likely you are tired a lot, no energy as your body is too acidic. The more alklaline your body, the more energy you will have and less prone to be ill. My dock gave me lamisil, a script anti yeast pill, I have also used diflucan to kill off yeast, then I go with home remedies to keep it away. Just my observation from experience, the more ill our body is, the more acidic it will become, an acidic body is not good for bacterial growth, so it must be an attempt to kill off bacteria. But an acidic body is a very good place for cancer to develope. stay vertical, david a > > > Could it be an outgrowth of Candida? > > > Could these circular fungus sores actually be nummular eczema? > I thought I had " ringworm " but actually I had nummular > eczema..........the itch was really intolerable............ > sol > >
Guest guest
I recently had a patient with a circular area on her lower leg which I would have diagnosed as ringworm - however I had to concede to her GP who diagnosed Bowen's Disease. Patient refused treatment but the area became damaged with broken skin and was extremely difficult to heal being a basically very fragile area. Patient chose the doctor over nursing care and I stopped attending. Google has a heap of info on this. Remember the area I saw was exactly like ringworm to look at.
