Rob,

It sounds as if you are working with someone who is following some (fairly old)

approach based on Sue Othmer or EEG Spectrum training. Bipolar montages are the

basis for most of their training.

It is unfortunate that, when the trainer finds something that seems to be

working, they feel the need to change to something else rather than continuing

with what is working. T3/T4 can be very powerful, but (as you can unfortunately

tell) it can be very powerful in a negative way as well, especially if the

trainer is not very experienced with it

The Othmers teach a technique for " reversing " the effect of a training gone bad,

so perhaps you should contact your trainer to see if he/she knows how to do

this. Remember, as you clearly just learned, that it is YOUR brain that is

being affected, and you have every right to expect information and

responsiveness in the professional you are paying to work with you. You may

very well say that you don't wish to do any further temporal lobe training or

that you want to return (after you are re-stabilized) to C3/C4 or EVEN that you

want ot try C4/A2 (which the Othmers also taught) and see how it works. If your

trainer, who hasn't been willing to explain to you--who are also a

professional--why he/she is doing the current things, and won't try to work

with you, then I believe you have every right to take your brain to someone

else!

Good luck,

Pete
