The North Texas Autism Education Center is partnering with Early Childhood

Intervention (ECI) of Lifepath Systems (Collin County) to provide an all-day

workshop for parents and professionals.

Effective Teaching Strategies for Children with Autism & Related Disorders

Presented by Gail Wayman, M.Ed., Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

May 16, 2005

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

(8:00 Check-in; 8:30- 5:00 presentation; lunch on your own 11:45 - 1:15)

Workshop location: Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. (just east of

75).

FREE for parents/family members.

$10.00 for professionals.

* How to Change Problem Behavior

* Intro to Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior

* Teaching Requesting to children with Autism
