I think I got my HepC from my ex-husband. We haven't been together in over 12 yrs so I've had it at least that long and possibly around 15 yrs. I found out last November as part of routine blood work for medication. I am at level 2-3 in both inflamation and liver damage. I have some vague symptoms of HepC: mild bone/muscle aches, headaches (may or may not be caused my HepC), and some moderate fatigue. I also get pain on my right lower side but that isn't always caused by my HepC either - I get indgestion (from GERD). I've been able to work - THANK GOD. I'm kind of scared too and want to get back onto treatment ASAP. I think I'm going try to see a Hepatolagist. I have 2 kids that are disabled need me - so I have to be ok. It is really scary but I've heard a lot of good stories on this list. If you've only had it for a few yrs you should be ok - I just wish I would've known 10 yrs ago. But, I guess I'm lucky I found out now. If it weren't for my blood tests I might have not known till I was really sick. --- Kim K
