July 17th, eh? Well July 17th will also be the EN Group's 1 year

Anniversary!! And you know how great this group turned out, so I think

you picked the perfect day!

Don't know if I ever admitted it, but Steve and I lived together

for 11 1/2 (eleven and one-half) yrs. before I agreed to marry him. I

was a child of the '60's and like the song goes " we don't need no

piece of paper from the city hall.... " . But actually getting legally

married was the best way to experess our love and commitment. Tomorrow

is 20 years since we were legally married on Steve's birthday--he'll

be (say it ain't so!) 60 years old!

Just got done reading your post... Hope all goes well for your wife.. If prayers help, she'll be just fine. You have a great bunch of people here who care and are pulling for both you and her.

{My wife is totally an Angel for lighting the way through my dark timeswith glowing compassion and warm teas and icyhot leg rubs. Sadly enough,it looks like I'll be getting the change to pay her back in kind. Herdoctors have recently told her that she might have breast cancer. :| :S:( Will know more later, but I learned how to be a pillar of supportlargely through being helped by her, I can only hope I'm as good as sheis at it. We're two of a kind and cannot ever see it as that. it'd belike a one-wheeled motorcycle. Prize every relationship in your life,and that's me stating the obvious and being cliche' heh. hmmm.}

Dear colbat,

I want to dedicate this poem to you and your wife....I love poetry and I

thought of you, when you spoke of the kindess and the support that you and

your wife show each other....(What is her name)... I dont feell that you

brought down my thread at all. You gave me hope, knowing that there are I

people out there with strong, lasting relationships. ......through sickness

and in health....
