Yes, I've had my Dr. mention that HCV does attack other organs in the body. I

know it made my migraines worse.

GOTTA QUESTION

As most of you know my hunny has HepC. Well, he told me that the doc wants to

take another biopsy of the liver and one of his right kidney. Can hepC affect

the kidneys in any way? I know he has been having a lot of problems with that

right one of his but wasn't sure if the problems were connected with his HepC.

Thanks!

Hugs and God bless,

Neesy,

This is one that I can answer :) Yes, Hep C, or should I say one particular

genotype of Hep C, can affect ones kidneys and cause an effect called " leaky

kidneys " . I'm not sure how it all works. Perhaps one of the more knowledgable

here could enlighten.

Thanks anne! I've never heard of that at all but I think I will definitely

try to look up more information on that one and run it past my hunny. He is

still so upset and angry about this whole thing. I spoke with him this morning.

He was SUPPOSED to be home from Europe on Friday but he had witnessed a terrible

accident in a store in Germany and the German government is making him stay

until he can testify about what he saw. He was in contact with the American

Embassy over there and they said, yes, they can do that. So on top of everything

else plus being sick with a terrible cold and all else going on with him,

needless to say he is terribly unhappy at this point. He's been gone over 3

months and he is anxious to be home.

Oh enough blabbering ... LOL.

Hugs!

Neesy
