Guest guest
Dear Lynn, I agree with you in giving alternative medicine a try if you are getting sicker or getting nowhere with Western medicine. I have set up our new referral database to include all practioners, including alternative practioners. I don't feel we should be so hardheaded as to feel one branch of the healing arts has all the answers. And by the same token, one treatment may work wonders for one of us and do nothing or even make another of us worse. I read a good quote a couple weeks ago that went something like : " If you think something is impossible, don't get in the way of the person working on the problem. " We are all working on the EN problem. Have a great day, Everyone! Love,
Guest guest
Actually, , you might not agree with me. After all I've been through with this disease, I think just the opposite of what you said. If I could do it over, I would have started with complimentary medicine, turning to allopathic as a last resort. I honestly think I'd be further ahead, but who knows? I'd be curious to hear your response to Liz's post, which was extremely " hardheaded " . I don't think I saw one, but maybe I missed it. As an aside, I tried to find the original of your extremely interesting post that you uploaded in the Files section. I couldn't locate the original article, but would very much like to read it. The author brought up some some fascinating ideas re vaccinations. I'm sure it's just me, but could you tell me the actual file " name " for which to look? I appreciate all the research you do in finding the newest research!!!! Have a good evening! Guest guest
Dear Lynn, What I meant to say was that if your present mode of treatment isn't working for you, consider a different form. I try to be flexible in my thinking. Some members have gotten good results from use of Western drugs and some have gotten good results from alternative treatments. If one is not helping, try another...that's all I was trying to say. I didn't answer Liz' post as she is doing so well with her new treatments and is in remission now. She is naturally enthuasiastic and optimistic. I am too. I hope she has found what works for her, and possibly others in the group. I'm not sure which file you are referring to. I could not find a File re vaccination, only a couple of links under Autoimmune that you may be referring to in the Links section. If you will be more specific I will see if I can locate the original article. In the future I will strive to get the original file or link location and not just the part that is of interest to me. There is a very motivated guy in my AI Group and he does lots of research. I often share his knowledge with our group. What I posted may have been all I got from him. I can ask him for the rest if I know which file you mean. Speaking of vaccination, I posted a very interesting link on a possible vaccination for RA and Lupus today. Have a grat evening Lynn and Everyone! Love,
