Our neighbors gave us some free range, pasture feed chicken eggs

recently. I checked and they are from Midvalleyvu Farms. So your

first recommendation looks like a good place to start.

Thanks for the tips. Now off I to go sell to the wife ;)

Anyone else experience issues in split opinions within couples

regarding consuming raw dairy products? (Undoubtedly so, just

fishing here .. ).

Thanks again

Hey Tony!

I'm surprised many are not taking your bait! Well, I will! ;-) Just call me intrepid! My hubby (DH in online lingo) has learned to trust me when it comes to matters of our children. He trusts that I will research a given issue (i.e. vaccines, fluoride) checking both sides of the issue before deciding "our" course of action. I really am thankful for that! I guess he figures it's too much like micromanaging otherwise and then we start second guessing each other and cancelling each other (like when we go to vote!)

He was pretty much convinced on real milk after I forwarded on the links to the WAPF and Real Milk sites I found last summer. He was fine, as long as he was assured that raw unprocessed correctly handled milk from healthy grassfed cows is safe, with me giving such milk to our children (our youngest was 1 year old at the time). He's now tired of the big heavy glass jugs the milk come in but since I don't go out and buy pasteurized milk (shudder!) from the supermarket, he doesn't go out and buy any either! I am sure that if it was left to him (like if I died tomorrow) he'd stop the raw milk. He already thinks me driving 15-20 minutes to pick up our raw milk brought to town is quite a chore! I haven't told him about some on this list who drive up to 5 hours round trip for some real milk! I have it "easy" and he complains about the short drive?! (Cue in: roll of eyes!)

So anyhow, maybe your wife would consider reading some articles on real milk online or Dr Ron Schmid's terrific book ("expose on pasteurized milk") or Dr WC s' "The Milk Book"? Janet Brunner carries some books for sale ("The Milk Book" if it's in stock, definitely, not sure about Schimid's book, and also has a lending library of related publications in her really neat store out in Arkansaw.) If you haven't been out there, whoa, you're in for a treat! It's a very pretty drive, and then when you turn off onto their road, you start wondering if you're really in the right place, everything seems so rural, so picturesque, then you get to the farm, it looks so "farmish" then you get in the store, and wowsers! It's just a mini "Whole Foods"! I don't know how Janet and Wayne does it- the quality of the stuff there, the variety, how the products are presented, it's all just so ..... well go and check it out for yourself, then come back and put in some adjectives! ;-)

The Bible also talks about being a "model" and how that just convinces people. Sometimes one can talk and talk until blue in the face, still no progress...ok, model the behavior and well, well, what do you know? a surprising conversion happens!

Good luck and keep me posted! :-)

LOL Sara! My husband & I cancel each other out at the polls, too!

Geez, I must have missed the bait somehow...it's a sore topic for

me, Tony!

I agree with Sara; you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make

him drink! I'm currently experimenting with the 'lead by example'.

We'll see...

It isn't my husband; it's my teenage son. He so misses the donuts

and soda!!! He refuses to believe this change is permanent.

He has a job, a driver's license, and a truck, so I have no control

over the food he eats out of the house...

Changes in health are slow and subtle. When we feel good, we don't

think about it, and unless we take notes, we forget what was wrong a

year ago, especially if it wasn't debilitating. I don't remember

where I read it (years ago), but someone likened it to body

temperature; when we're cold, we look for an open window to close;

otherwise we don't give it a thought.

Does your wife have any major health issues? Real Milk will cure

anything that doctors prescribe steroid drugs (and derivatives of

steroid drugs) for. Little things, maybe, like Skin/hair/nails/etc?

Maybe you could show her the specific passage that says how milk

will help? Her family; any diabetes, arthritis? And her kids: What

milk will prevent/improve in growing bodies.

(Assuming she'll read it. My son won't...And I've talked myself

blue in the face trying to convince him....big mistake - now it's

an " ISSUE " ... If she's dead set against it, lay low. Sometimes,

you just have to let the wind blow.) ...sigh...
