Hi !

I was also really depressed with the hypoT, gained 115lb, have PCOS, and

diabetes. Only difference is my T3 is low. My TSH was " normal " too, like

yours. I think you should be tested for antibodies, and find a doctor

who will medicate you.

hi ! iam desperate for some support and help. For the last three

years i have battled depresson(been put on many different drugs for

that), 80 pound weight gain, enormous fatigue, thinning hair, and a

diagnosis of PCOS and borderline diabetes. two yeara ago my labs were

tsh-3.38 and now it is at 2.31, but my total t3 is way elevated at

195. no one seems to have answers for me, my priamary says my tsh is

fine, beacsue it falls in the " normalL range, but i am reading

that " normal " may be between 1-2. i want to feel well again! any

advice is welcome.

thansk-

I have tried but not actively - what I mean is I have gone around 6

months with no birth control and nothing happened, but I haven't tested

for ovulation or anything like that. I got a blood test at the time and

I was ovulating, and I know when I ovulate too (I cramp). I am torn

about this baby thing right now, cause I don't think that I should have

children, I am afraid the thyroid will make me too sick to care for a

child if I do get pregnant and my husband really wants to have a child,

so right now I am trying to make a decision - whether to get another IUD

and give up on the idea for good or to stick to condoms for now and try

to improve my health and save some money for a possible baby.

The met really reduces the risk of miscarriage too, so I am sure you

will be able to have a baby.
