Guest guest
There's only one office suite I can recommend to anyone - whether they run Windoze, Linux, or Mac: http://www.openoffice.org Not only does it give you all the integrated stuff you're used to from M$ Office, the price is right (Absolutely free). And you can tell it to use whatever email program you prefer. (I'm currently using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email program, because of its integrated spam filtering system.) Guest guest
Hi: Last year, I got XP-Pro for my birthday and it's great. Much more user-friendly than anything I've had before. I actually read the manual that came with it which I never actually did with the operating systems I had previously so it didn't take as long to figure out what I was doing. By the time my grandkids get old enouth to become computer users (all 5 and under), heaven knows what will have been invented by then or if they will have learned how to sit instead of run. :-)
