Guest guest
How about a portable H2O IV? Bob Drury
Guest guest
I buy steam distilled water, store 3 blocks from my house, pure, pure water. Tastes good, I drink it ice cold, normally. I do get bored sometimes, but I atternate with gatorade, apple juice, and other juices. I pay .30 a gallon. I absolutely have to drink lots of water, as I am very subject to dehydration. I had my colon removed 9 years ago after suffering from colitis for many years. Best thing I ever did. Most fluids are absorbed into the body via the colon though, so I am very inefficient in absorbing fluids. I have to work at it every day. That is why I drink gatorade, the electrolytes help maintain hydration. You get used to the taste, I have no choice, really. I got dehydrated once after my surgery, I was retching, on the floor, bad cramps, dry heaves, diarhhea, totally helpless. Went to the hospital for 3 days, had an IV for fluids and recuperated. I do not want to go there again. Even so, it is real hard to drink a gal a day. And when I am feeling really lousy, even harder. I usually get at least 2 quarts down. Think about cleansing your body from the inside while you are drinking that boring stuff. Maybe that will help! Ray teresa kemper wrote: I AGREE ... water can sometimes be so boring! When I started drinking it, I would actually gag ... especially if it was tap water! Now, it is the first thing I grab. It is like anything else; if you do it often enough, you get used to it. People who get used to drinking tea or sodas won't want anything but that. <snip>

That's what I do when I absolutely have to have something fizzy. Perrier, etc., is great just as it is, but there are flavors too, or I add fruit juice sometimes. Guest guest
Yea, I may try switching to seltzer ... given that we are carbon based bio-units, I don't see how carbonation can be harmful. Bob Drury
