Guest guest
I'd wonder how her fibrinogen levels are. Is her blood "thick" that she is not getting blood flow to the area sufficiently that it would keep regressing like that? I'd try significant doses of systemic enzymes between meals to clean up debris around that wound in particular (and her whole system in general). Also, my elderly mother (92 yesterday! although she wouldn't admit to it ), was injured recently on a trip to Mexico. The wound was not healing well (definitely poor venous circulation), but when she made a point to uncover it evenings and night and it got air, healing sped up. Lavender Oil topically can also be anti-bacterial in influence as well as speed wounds, but I'm impressed with Nacy's comment on calendula succus, that's quite impressive. San Ramon Hi, I would appreciate any insights or suggestions for a 42 y.o. female with a non/slow-healing lesion on her leg. She bumped into an exercise machine at the gym 11 months ago, the skin opened and the lesion had not healed since. Biopsies unremarkable. She has done courses of antibiotics, which have allowed some healing to occur, but the wound regressed once antibiotics were finished. I started seeing her 6 weeks ago and had her apply colloidal silver gel BID, hot & cold compress daily, and acupuncture. The pustules resolved and a scab formed, however when she we began to reduce the gel and start applying a calendula, comfrey, vit A salve the lesion regressed. She is otherwise healthy, active and blood work was unremarkable except for low Vit D which we are addressing. Any thoughts, suggestions, or experience is greatly appreciated. Best, Todd A.
