Guest guest Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Addictions are bad. Is this true? I should break my addictions. Is this true? Lately, now and then, as I'm eating some candy or sweets, I start to berate myself. But a tiny voice sometimes pipes up, and says - Eating candy/sweets is bad. Is this true? And I start to laugh. And smile. And yeah, the scale reads 220# when my 5'3 " frame steps on it, but hey... I should lose weight. Is that true? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha I don't know. I just know I'm happier more and more these days despite what's happening externally. I was at the YMCA last night, was naked in the locker room, bending over to get drink from water fountain. Out of the corner of my eye I see two young, slim women walk by. My old MO would have been to feel bad about my size. Maybe even suck in gut a little. Geez, the thoughts, they just creep in like that. I was happy, enjoying the cold water, and this negative thought arises. Anyway, another thought overtook the negative one, and this thought was an image of my butt, getting blown up like a balloon. And I laughed inside, might have laughed outside, but could have choked as I was drinking. Choking is bad. Is this true? God, life is getting so fun!!! Enjoy (in-joy) the Ride - Quote
