Guest guest
Anja, My money would be on the bananas. You might experiment and take them out for a while and see if it clears up. I can drink those 3 cups straight down (as it's so yummy ) and as long as I don't have another smoothie, I feel fine, but then I get constipated. Kefir is usually thought to solve this problem, not start it! I know bananas are known to help with diarrhea, so might that be the problem? But just 1 or 2 bananas? I like them ripe and sweet. Guest guest
Hey Anja, I'm with on this. Bananas are anti-diarrheal which could also mean constipation! Remember the "BRAT" diet for those who are not feeling well and having diarrhea. Bananas, rice, apples and toast. I love bananas too! I know they're reputed to be high in carbs but hey, bananas go with just about any fruit in smoothies! But you could try taking them out for a while and see if there's any effect. Good luck! Guest guest
Hey, thanks for the suggestions, my body obviously just needed some time to get used to more kefir (about 6 cups today ) CU Anja > > > Hey, > > I make very delicious smoothies with bananas (1-2) (or pineapple or > > maybe canned fruit ), kefir (1-2 cups) and raw honey, they are > > about 3 cups and are just YUM, they have whipped cream on top (I > > think it is whipped cream as it's different to whipped milk and there > > is a separation of cream in my milk to start with. > > I can drink those 3 cups straight down (as it's so yummy ) and as > > long as I don't have another smoothie, I feel fine, but then I get > > constipated.
