Guest guest
Okay... We've got ourselves another true resident Scientist. Thanks, Jill. Re: Pls welcome Vicki to the list-Lactobacillus delbruekii ssp. bulgaricus Hi Vicki; From what I understand you don't need to worry - this bacterium is commonly used in food products. I base that on a few article I've read including following: Biotechnol. Prog., 20 (1), 248 -254, 2004. 10.1021/bp034165y S8756- 7938(03)04165-1 " Lactobacillus delbruekii ssp. bulgaricus is important in a number of industrial applications and is frequently employed as a starter culture for dairy fermentations; combined with other species, it is in particular used in the industrial manufacture of yoghurt and of such cheese types as emmental, gruyhre, gorgonzola, mozarella, cacciocavallo, and provolone (32). As happens with this and many other starter cultures with commercial expression, freezing and freeze-drying are commonly used for the preservation and storage of such starter microorganisms for later application by the food industry. " Hey! Maybe what you could do is add it on purpose, and make a really cool good healthy raw cheese ... and play cute little games with it. I'm thinking that " Happy " cheese that you see all over (with the darker-colored smiley face embedded in it). Just yours would be MUCH more Happy because it would be made with Real Happy Milk. Only yours is pink, not orange. Hmmmmmm. Pink. Pink. Pink. You could probably make millions around Valentines or even Easter. MFJ Any moment in which you feel like dancing is a perfect moment.
