LOL It is a given that I am coming! But I did make a point to vote on the new

poll!

Glad to hear it! We are going to have so much fun this year. With it all being

in the same place, close to the airport, and so many speakers; I am so excited.

I am bringing all my girls this year. They saw me come back last year so

excited that they want to come this year to hear all the speakers and meet the

other families. (15 mds) is really excited to meet all the other kids

too. This will be so much fun for the children without all the traveling back

and forth between the meeting places. Way to go Kristy!

I am getting very excited too! I just spoke with Peoples on the phone,(The

author of UNDERSTANDING HOW CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME LEARN) and I can not

wait to have her as a speaker! She is a FANTASTIC woman to talk with and her

book is SO easy to understand and it makes SO much sense!

I can't wait to meet and the rest of your family! I know that Tim is

anxious to meet too!

The Gunnels group was too wishy-washy when the poll was done!! We are there

definately. Check out your local ARC. We got $500 from IL's. We also got $600

from our local DS group. These were definate bonuses for my dh. Also, we are

combining our vacation with the conference. Houston and Galveston sound so

exciting. Can't wait to swim in the gulf. All we have here in IL are muddy

rivers and lakes that are cold. Also can't wait to taste real live BBQ.

Is anyone going to the Astros game on Wed the 22nd?? We are going to be there.

With husband and boys that are sports nuts, had to visit Minute Maid Park!!

Also looking forward to meeting other kids with MDS and their sibs. My kids

feel a bit " different " at times with a sib with a " strange " dx.

We have a little more than 3 weeks before conference. Can't wait to see

everyone there!
