Surprisingly, we did not know this content resided on our Web site and you are right, it should not be there. This is a purchased library program, and we should have taken greater care in ensuring this information was not included. We are working now to delete this content from the library and hope to have this corrected promptly. My main reason for posting that was to alert list members to this subscription service which other hospitals may also have. Hopefully everyone will check their local Catholic hospital and see if they subscribe to this or something similar. Unfortunately, I have a friend who also received a staff referral and discharge papers containing similar language when she went to the ER, so it is a little more systemic than just a subscription service. Others may want to check that too--what is given out in the ER to women and girls. I am encouraged that you got such a quick response. Please note the response I got to my email.
