Guest guest
Hi everyone I tryed to prove a point to a friend of mine, a point that once said: two people never loved each other. She meant that the only person you can really love or not is only yourself and other people just reflect your self love. We all know that if you dont love your boss bacause he doesn't apritiate you, the turn around would be: you dont apritiate yourself... But what about this one: I dont like my neighbour, because he stink's (bad smell comes out of him). We can all identify that it is not plasent to be near a stinky person Even when you are dont have this issue with yourself. So... I dont like being with my neighbour, because he stink's What is it that I dont like about myself, assuming that I never stink? Possible turn around: I dont like myself when I stink. but, Let say I never stink, than I could love stinky people? I tryed another thing: If I could be at the present of the stinky person, and not to think: He should't be so stinky, How I would I treat him defrently? I think I would still have a problem being close to him. :-) Any suggestions? What do you think, is it all about reflactions?

That is true for me too. > > Possible turn around: > > I dont like myself when I stink. > but, > Let say I never stink, than I could love stinky people? > > I tryed another thing: > If I could be at the present of the stinky person, > and not to think: He should't be so stinky, > How I would I treat him defrently? > I think I would still have a problem being close to him. :-) > > > Any suggestions? > > What do you think, is it all about reflactions? Dear Tami, For myself, everything is a reflection....when I see my neighbor, Mr. Dale, and make judgements that he should be cleaner and not have a big pot belly, then my thinking is stinky. Without the thought that Mr. Dale should be different, in his presence, I really enjoy and admire him. Without my stinky thinking, he's transformed into a big, strong man who drives a bus all day, he would do anything to help me out and he has been a great neighbor. He took me to the hospital once when I had cut my hand badly and needed stitches and he watched my boys all day while I recovered. So as my thinking changes about Mr. Dale, I don't ever see a problem anymore with how he looks or smells. I love him instead. nne
Guest guest
Hi nne I think there is a big difference between judging someone for: Not being clean or having a big pot belly, and... being stink!!! I agree that if I wouldn't have stinky thoughts about him, I could accept him for being unclean ext... and love him for who he is. But,what about the bad smell??? You are saying that without having stinky thought, his smell wouldn't bother me? Could it happen, this is something fisical, his smell affects me!!! Please explain the magic
Guest guest
Hi Tami, I can't know what will happen for you when you judge your neighbor and do the Work. See what happens for you, though... I look forward to hearing about your experience.... love, nne > Hi nne > > I think there is a big difference between judging someone for: > > Not being clean or having a big pot belly, and... > being stink!!! > > I agree that if I wouldn't have stinky thoughts about him, > I could accept him for being unclean ext... and love him for who he > is. > > But,what about the bad smell??? > You are saying that without having stinky thought, > his smell wouldn't bother me? > Could it happen, this is something fisical, > his smell affects me!!! > > > Please explain the magic

The short answer would be: Do the work! > I dont like being with my neighbour, because he stink's How do you feel inside, when you have the thought? Is it a stressful or not? > I tryed another thing: > If I could be at the present of the stinky person, > and not to think: He should't be so stinky, > How I would I treat him defrently? > I think I would still have a problem being close to him. :-) You could have a problem being close to a wild snake. Where is the problem? > Any suggestions? > > What do you think, is it all about reflactions? I think you can love your neighbour and still notice that you keep him at a distance. Whether he smells or not. When you avoid him, and try to manipulate him, so he doesn't notice, and you make sure others don't notice, either, you would project the same things on other people, as well. All you can see in other people are things about yourself that you don't see. Maybe a thought occurs to you, when you are with your neighbour, and he stinks. Something like: he should take more care of himself? Look there. Love,
