Guest guest
I know 's work well and know of her commitment but am concerned about what the PTI does in Texas I know they all run differently from state to state. I think though others on the list serve probably would benefit from knowing what the PTI does in Texas as well so if you could explain here that would be just fine for me. Guest guest
Thanks so much I really appreciate it, I see lots of PTI work going on on listserves across the country. In MA we do parent consultant/advocate training as well then the trainee's provide a certian amount of free time pro bono work it is amazing you should check out all the PTI has in MA. You are doing a great job and thanks for the information.

Guest guest
Thank you for your response. I do not live in Texas although work with many folks from Texas I founded PFRR which is part of the 1st PTI in the Country. The Federation for Children with Special Needs this year celebrated 30 years of parents helping parents. It is a parent run, parent working organization itself. I am glad to see that Texas is now running statewide it was difficult to get it all under one unbrella I imagine. I work closely with the Federation for Families folks in Texas who do wonderful work, the ARC's, and Barbara K from the Houston area.
