Guest guest
I just read Sally Fallon's broth recipe, which says to simmer for 6-8 hours - do you reduce the simmer time to stretch the use of the bones (and if so, approximately how long do you simmer each time?) or do you do the full shift all four times? I just got ingredients to make a chicken stock and soup...this is only my second time making homemade broth! Last time I wondered if it would be worth trying to make another broth with the same bones but never did try it, so thanks for bringing this up. And approximately how much salt do you use in each batch? Sorry for the questions, but I always need super-detailed instructions the first time I do something. Thank you! Guest guest
Ohhhh! I'll be happy to even come and get any bones!! Would be nice to visit. Are you going to ladies night out at the WH tomorrow?? Not sure I am going to be able to make it. May have to watch grandson. Plus an early church morning on Sunday as we are spending the remainder of the day doing geocaching. www.geocaching.com It is a great sport (guess that is what ya can call it) and getting hubby and I out walking and getting some great exercise that we both need badly! Ahhhh, good food, as we are packing our lunch, hardboiled eggs, apples and who knows what else, fresh air while treasure hunting. Can't beat that!
