Guest guest
Hi: Just a little note to tell you welcome. The folks here for the most part are real. Some days someone may be right where you are (but your're saying to yourself, but no one hurts as much as I do. Right?) What is cool is that people genuinely care? They also for what it is worth offer up any thing that they can and if there are any ideas or suggestions for you that doesn't mean you have to try everything, just know that there is a lot coming at you and you are the judge of what fits, One thing I do know, and the lady before me said this too that is with pain generally comes varying degrees of depression. If you were to look up various things about your pain issue, where it is, what has it kept you from doing, have you cut down on your social life, your tired and irritable more than not, you don't sleep well and frustrations a given. I would suggest that when you next see your physician, if you have an empathetic one, tell the person how you have been feeling emotionally and mentally, the person may offer something to aid you in enduring the symptoms. Keep in touch and take care. Alice wseone56@... Torrance, CA. 90505
Guest guest
<<<< I'm not suicidal but I wish I could have some days without illness or pain! I'm sooo depressed! >>>> Hi , Welcome to the group.....sorry you have pain! Most of us with chronic pain suffer from depression also... seems like it's almost a given. Do you take any anti-depressants? There are many articles written on pain and depression...it might be helpful to you to read some and I'm sure you could find some if you just put 'pain/depression' in your search engine. I hope you find the group helpful....we try! Take care and hang in there. Peace, Ann
Guest guest
Hi Ann! Thank you for your kind welcome! I have severe colitis and so I can't take anti-depressants because they make me horribly ill, tho thank you for the suggestion. I have read & found healing visualizations on the internet to help me & I try to keep my mind busy or read etc. to take my mind off the pain. I hope you too feel better! thanks again!
