Guest guest
Glad to see you, Janet! Hope you are well on your way to complete recovery! About the letter, I would just like to stress that it is important to be respectful in your letter. I used to work for a company that if they got an unrespectful gripe letter, they'd pitch it in the trash. But even if someone was very angry, when they wrote in a respectful manner, someone would address the situation. Get lots of rest! We're all still here for you! :-D Barbara
Guest guest
As soon as I hear back from Ralph, I'll send you one. --Terry Checking In Hello Folks, Just a quick note to let you know I'm hanging in there - doing everything in my power not to let this Mono get me down. Gads, now I know how my kids felt when they had it - it's rough!!! To our new members - welcome - I'm Janet. My husband Wayne and I started this list as a way for raw dairy believers to get together. We're quite pleased with the quality of people we have here and so very proud to be a part of such a wonderful group of people. In reading my email the past few days - and not really feeling like replying - let me try to catch up on a couple of things. I don't know who it was that posted (sorry) that we only want to have 100 share owners here - but let me assure you - if we could have 300 we would! We haven't set any limits and would love nothing more than to throw away our milk producers license and be on our own - without state intervention....... speaking of which - no word from Judge s yet. We have not stopped selling shares and don't intend on quitting anytime soon. In fact, we're in the process of writing a letter to Judge s - one that will insist that she provide proof that she has legal authority over Corporate Structure. If anyone here would like to see what we've written so far please feel free to contact me off list. We would love opinions and help with the letter - as we want it to set the DATCP "on their butts" so to speak. We plan on sending this letter to Judge s after we get her clarification. I'm really sorry we missed the Jennings report last night. Doc Ron, please let us know if you get a response back from your letter to them. I will take the time to write myself when I get on the computer again (still taking it in small stretches here). Bill.......you wrote about Dr. Mercola's last newsletter having an article about raw dairy products. You wouldn't happen to have the addy for that would you? Yes, I do get his newsletters, but for some reason I missed that article. Terry.......Would it be possible to get a copy of the article about the Navy Seals getting a full tanker of raw milk? This would be perfect to add to our files for the DATCP. Maybe you remember which farming magazine it was in? Now I know I'm missing a lot of what I wanted to respond to - my brain is a bit foggy lately. I'm still here folks, just staying in the sidelines until I'm feeling more human. Guest guest
Hello Folks, Sorry it's been so long since I checked in - I've been feeling a little better and trying to catch up some around here. Imagine a household being run by my DH Wayne and our 19 year old son while I was down with Mono and the flu. They did "okay" but sadly do not have a woman's touch as far as cleaning goes. I told Wayne once a few days before Christmas that it's no wonder I'm not getting better - there's enough dust in this house to clog up anyone's lungs. He promptly dusted and vacuumed - ummmm....I had to plead with him to move a little slower with the vac - as he literally flew across the floor with it LOL!!! Anyway, I'm finally feeling well enough to tackle the everyday mundane work around here, but if I overdo it I'm flat on my back the next day. I'll get there - it just takes time I guess. I think what helped more than anything was doing the milk diet for 4 days. I couldn't go any longer than that - I missed food too much but I do believe it helped to get rid of a lot of toxins. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed reading my email daily. It gave me a reason to get out of bed some days! I do want to thank Sara for stepping in to help with moderator duties - she's done a fantastic job and deserves a pat on the back as well as a big hug Now, to the news from the state. As I mentioned one day last week I believe, we received our paperwork from Judge s just before Christmas. We read them, then put them away till after the Holidays. I'm going to send another email in the morning with the details of her clarification. My scanner isn't working very good right now, so I'm going to have to type the whole thing out for you all to read. Oh, we see that ACRES USA put a copy of our "Plea For Help" in their last issue. Did anyone here see it? Last page both left and right sides. For those of you that are new here - you might want to read it so you know what we're dealing with here. There's a copy of the letter on the Weston A. Price website at: http://www.westonaprice.org/federalupdate/actionalert_102903.html If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Okay folks, time to head out to collect eggs and lock up the chickens for the night. I'll try to stop in a little more often - and of course will send an email first thing in the morning. that's all for now, Janet Attachment: vcard [not shown]
Guest guest
Great idea setting up a 'travel resource list' ! I've thought a few times how great it would be to look up another like-minded person..like if I was going to Tennessee, I'd look up . That would be great fun! Let me know how the MOSES turn out..it sounds wonderful and if the Wisconsin farmers get together to diss DATCP- cool! Sara PS Janet- ROTFL.. to the kombucha tea comment...ah you got my big fat hint! I'll let you know when I'm coming the Midvalleyvu way....! It's "when" and not "if" ! I would like to start a database of people/farms who are willing to allow people to come to their place for raw dairy while traveling. We've been on the road a few times when we would have given anything for some fresh milk! That's all for now folks........back to work here! All the best, Janet (who still owes Sara some Kombucha Tea if she ever gets her butt back to the farm:)
