Guest guest Posted July 4, 2008 Report Share Posted July 4, 2008 To kill fruit flies I will sometimes leave a bit of strong kombutcha in a cup on the counter overnight. They fly in and drown. You can also use cider vinegar but I can't remember if the vinegar was supposed to be mixed with dish soap (to kill the flies) or not.
