Subject: tennis elbow

hello all, i think i have a tennis elbow, at least what i

read about

it, it is just the same with my elbow, underarm. has anyone

treated

this with herbs, any other tricks perhaps, i have had this

for half a

year now and it is getting annoying......... and painful at

times.

problem is that i work every day with my arms, lifting,

pulling, etc.

i would like to hear your advice. experiences, thank you,

rik

Hi Rik,

About 2 years ago I used EFT to " heal " my neighbor's tennis

elbow.... while standing in her driveway!

Although she plays tennis 2-3 times a week, it has never

returned.

We tapped for pain in her elbow, in her arm, being specific

as to the type of pain, location, etc (we had to chase the

pain).

We tapped for her elbow/arm being painful when she hit the

tennis ball, when she moved her arm in different directions,

and even when she pounded meat (she had been making dinner,

tenderizing meat with a mallet, that was what brought on the

pain that night). We addressed each one by one.

The pain went away within 10 minutes with EFT and has not

returned. Get tapping!

Love & light,

Gwenn

Thank you for this informative discussion and for all who

participate. I faithfully read the posts but don't write much in

return.

For the past year I have been battling Tennis Elbow. My doc tells me

it is common and can be rather persistent even with treatment. I've

had it injected a couple of times, I've done PT, the doc gave me some

Celebrex to try which is the first anti-inflammatory drug I've ever

really tolerated. I wear an arm band. When I do all of this combined

the trouble goes away for a few months. But, and this is the third

time, it comes back.

I have examined my daily use of the hand and arm to see what

repetitive things I do may exacerbate the trouble. When it comes on

it is really painful and eventually, without treatment, I pretty much

loose use of the arm altogether.

I type a lot for my job. It seems when my arm acts up I notice I've

slept on it wrong, it goes to sleep and wakes me up :-)

Anyway, my question is, could there be any factors I should make the

doc aware of other than telling him I have CMT? Does CMT have any

symptoms that would look like Tennis Elbow that might require a

different approach?

Or is Tennis Elbow just Tennis Elbow?

I'm trying to make it through the holidays with my arm band an

Celebrex. Then I'll probably go through another round of treatment to

try and get my arm back.

Thanks for anything you can tell me. And thanks again for this forum.

Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can try the Arnica. When I read about it,

after you mentioned it, there are warnings about it that it raises blood

pressure and can cause an increased heart rate with nervous disturbances

(that is what it says at the Herbal Information Center website). I take a

blood pressure beta blocker and have benign pvc's occasionaly, so I'm a

little cautious about something that might upset all of that. Am I being

overly cautious?
