Guest guest
Hi List! I found out about this group from a fellow CMTer. I was diagnosed in 1992. I'm female, 53 years old. I wear AFOs. I had gotten braces similar to Mitch's, but they kept breaking, so I gave up on them. Plus they are way too expensive for them not to work. I am fairly active -- I can bicycle. It's hard starting off and stopping. lol. But once I get going I'm OK. I walk in the winter, but I don't get as good a workout. I figure it's better than nothing. I use a cane for balance when I'm walking. I've been ignoring my CMT and hoping it will go away. lol. I decided to get my head out of the sand and find out what you all are doing. Thanks for letting me join! JoAnn Desiderata Farm Newfoundland, Canada (originally from NJ)
