Guest guest
It sounds like there are several of us in the same situation. I have a hearing with the ALJ on January 23. I would be happy about it (since it's taken so long) but by then I'll probably lose my house. I already can't afford the doctor and prescription costs. My personal experience has been that SSA does not have any sympathy. I met with my attorney today to review records before the hearing. I had three surgeries over the summer. I informed SSA of this and was told they had requested those records. According to my attorney no records were ever sent for. On June 5th SSA stated they received those records and denied my reconsideration on June 8th. I was in surgery on June 5th. SSA made a decision based on records they had never seen. It becomes very discouraging. Good Luck!!
