Are you familiar with " the work " ?

Judge your friend, be petty while you do that. Write

it down.

Then ask the four questions and turn it around!

I usually don't have to know where to start, the first

thought that

comes up about someone is good. Any thought will do.

And if there seem to be just too many, I take the most

blaming one,

and if I can neither find a judgement, nor how to

blame him, I look up

my list of suggestions for him that I have in my mind,

for how he

could improve *my* life.

Hi Liz,

You may want to try the four questions on " He is the love of my life. "

Debra

Hi Liz!!

I agree with debra, how about starting by applying the 4 questions

and the turnaround to:

" He is the love of my life. "

Welcome to our family.

Blessings, Steve D.

Hi Liz,

In my experience I need only inquire on my STRESSFUL stories. For me

the story that your boyfriend is the love of your life, sounds pretty

nice and I would not inquire into that.

Now stories like:

" My boyfriend should not have broken up with me. "

" I need my boyfriend to be happy. "

Those stories for me would be quite stressful and worthwhile bringing

to inquiry. When you have been doing the Work for awhile the most

stressful story of all is " I " or " I am " because it separates you from

what is. No need to go there yet unless you really want to, undoing

your boyfriend mythology should be enough fun for now :)

" Sanity doesn't suffer, ever . . . ever! Sanity doesn't suffer,

ever, ever! Isn't that lovely? " Byron
