I was reading some of the thread about " God is everything; God is good " and

enjoying the exploration you have been having. It reminded me of something

that occurred to me recently; that every time I see Reality as something

less than goodness, created by God, it fits the definition of blasphemy. I

went and looked it up. Here is the definition.

blas.phe.my

1.

a. A contemptuous or profane act, utterance, or writing concerning God

or a sacred entity.

b. The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.

2. An irreverent or impious act, attitude, or utterance in regard to

something considered inviolable or sacrosanct.

So, if I declare that Reality is not as it should be, I am calling God a

failure and arrogantly putting forth that I know better. Of course, I don't

think God is insulted by this. It is the height of arrogance to think that

God cares what I think or say about God, and I can't know that this is true.

So, I am a blasphemer. ;o)

Dear Fellow Blasphemer,

You post reminded me of when I realized that I was an Idolator! :-)

And that Idolatry is across the board. Then I remembered what God

did to Idolator's in the Old Testament! LOL!

Thanks, I needed a good laugh!

Thank you for sharing that and thank you for sharing your website.

That is the first time I have ever seen it and it now resides in

my " Favorites List " .

Happy New Year!
