Guest guest
Dear lovethework, I said " Sometimes I think what I think is important, but it isn't. " . For me, if I consider what I am thinking as important, then I am attaching to my thoughts and I have closed off my mind and left the open peacefulness of the " I don't know " mind. The way this thought hit me was like taking the wind out of my sails...i felt stuck...I felt unimportant.... The way it hits me in my body is like someone unplugging my life flow...and then it hit me in my neck...mostly around my neck. Guest guest
Dear nne: Your Turnaround of " What YOU think is important...this makes me a listener....a friend, observer, a lover of what is. " , sounds nice, but it is not true for me. I do not have to think that what you think is important in order for me to be a friend, observer, and a lover of what is. What you think and what I think about what you think has nothing to do with " what is " . The activity of thinking is only important to the Ego Mind so that it can maintain it's illusion of existance. The " I " that we think thinks does not even exist. > > > > > > What I think is not important. > > > > Is that true? Yes, it would appear so. The " I " > that we think thinks does not even exist. > " The activity of thinking is only important to the Ego Mind so that it can maintain it's illusion of existence. " Is it true? I don't really know. I have read it in a book, but its not my experience. How do I feel when I believe that thought? Stupid, worthless, a big mistake. Who would I be if I didn't believe that thought? More peaceful. More loving to myself even if I am confused. TA. " The activity of thinking is NOT important to the Ego Mind. " Could be truer. Perhaps some Ego Minds do not find the activity of thinking important. I don't really know. " The activity of thinking is only important to God. " If God is everything and God is good, then by definition I guess " the activity of thinking " must also be good. Not of any less importance than anything else. " Sanity doesn't suffer, ever . . . ever! Sanity doesn't suffer, ever, ever! Isn't that lovely? " Byron
