Would Primal Defense take care of a fungal/yeast problem? The yeast

does make sense because I've also had a irritable bladder since

implants that sometimes feels like a very slight vaginal yeast

infection as well, again another one of my symtoms that is hard to

explain!

What kinds of tests are involved w/testing for fungal & /or yeast?

I think Fungal Defense would be a better product at first, because it is formulated to work specifically on fungal issues. Primal defense will help give you the good bacteria that needs to offset the bad bacteria, but I think fungal issues are a different animal altogether.

I had the irritable bladder. It was weird too, because I had it about a year or two AFTER explant, and it was not one of my original symptoms. It was like my body was working its way through some of these autoimmune symptoms, and I had to take extra measures to deal with them...the irritable bladder and feeling of bladder infection I had to address with large amounts of raw garlic, olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract, and all the other natural anti-bacterial stuff. Cranberry juice too, just like the old wives tales tell you. (unsweetened of course.)

But they all went away and never returned, thank God.

I am not sure which tests are best for these fungal infections...I never had any tests done, so I hope others will be able to offer their advice on that one.

There are some prescription medications that help with

fungal/yeast infections. However, most doctors are

reluctant to prescribe them for long. And, if one has

an extensive problem, the die-off of yeast/fungus can

cause liver problems.

The best attack is a holistic appoach. . . Read " The

Yeast Connection " , or one of the newer books. That can

explain the problems associated with yeast.

Maintaining an anti-fungal diet is essential since

certain foods (especially sugar) feed yeast/fungus.

Drinking plenty of pure water is very important too.

Another book to read is " Patient Heal Thyself " . . .

The supplements and diet are well covered there as

well. The explanation of fungus/yeast isn't as

thorough there though.

Fungal Defense is a good place to start. One bottle,

followed by Primal Defense. www.appleadayandbeyond.com

has the best prices I've seen. If cost is an issue,

you can supplement with fresh, crushed garlic, oil of

Oregano, etc. . . These will help kill off the bad

organisms. . . However, you will need to replace them

with the beneficial organisms. That's where probiotics

like Primal Defense, and certain foods come in.

Organic sauerkruat (I can't remember how to spell that

tonight) . . come in.

It's an long term thing since candida can be anywhere

in your body! It takes time to clear it! There's no

easy way out!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene
