Eva, is this a classic egg or chicken question? Or can it be

either way, not always one or the other? Feelings vs. thoughts I

mean. I do ask myself " Where did that thought come from? " ...

Hi Jan,

thank you for the titles, I haven't read any of these yet.

Yes, I too, love reading other books that all seem to tell a

similar

story.

Have you ever read " Hello God, This is " by Fynn?

Highly recommended and I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.

I've noticed a funny thing when I'm very much taken up by a

research

question (I'm involved in scientific research in psychology),

e.g. if

it's the feelings or the thoughts that come first. This issue is

not

only debated between the Sedonas and the Workers, but has been

an

issue between various brands of psychologists as well for many

years

already. When I'm really into it, when I dream about it and take

my

articles with me everywhere I go, it looks like the whole world

is

giving me clues. It seems as if everything is especially tuned

to

help develop my thoughts on the subject, and even an apple pie

recepy

or a knitting pattern can supply vital inspiration and thoughts.

There is such richness and abundance!

And then it's simply the world that I create for my own sake...

It must truely be love doing that to itself....

Love,

Eva

Hi Ron,

My own opinion is that the two are each made up of many aspects -- it

seems to me that a thought is not just a plain thought that starts

and ends somewhere, it consists of a whole range of subthoughts and

superthoughts and pre-thoughts and post-thoughts that all tumble

about or flow into each other, so in my view " a " thought is not a

clearcut, sharply defined concept (!).

The same is true, in my opinion, of feelings, but in a somewhat

different way. There is no way, at least not that I can imagine, that

you cannot feel.. there is always something inside of you going on.

So to say that this is 'a' feeling is making a rather arbitrary

distinction between what is happening at one particular time and the

next. Feelings are felt in our whole body, and in our brains.

I think that parts of our thoughts can both elicit feelings and more

thoughts, and that parts of our feelings (and the processing of those

in our brains) can in turn elicit thoughts and more feelings, and on

and on.

So in my view it's not so much a chicken and egg issue. To me it

seems more like the harmonic interplay of a closely interconnected

system in which you try to pry apart the one instrument from the

other, something like that.

What one instrument does is reflected in the music that is being

produced. The instruments have to follow each other because they are

bound to each other, and anything that happens with the one affects

the tuning and the clarity and harmony of the whole system.

Ah well, stories on a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks Eva (also my Grandmother's name...) for sharing what you

have learned. I often " think " that neither thoughts or emotions

are linear, zig, zag, through five dimensions....well, long drive

ahead, thanks again. Back in a week, will be too much to follow I

am sure.
