Guest guest
One of my massage teachers brought in a sock with two tennis balls and demostrated rolling over them (a ball on either side of the spine) and called it " massage therapist in a sock " and said it was something we could do for ourselves to ease the strain of working on others. A lot of tried it and it was really cool and very helpful! Just as an ordinary tonic type deal for regular days or milder pain days it feels good as well. He did tell us though to not let people in on it, but since you know about it anyway heather
Guest guest
I tried the two balls in a sock technique, but found I needed to move the ball to more specific areas, like in my shoulder blade, & it was easier with one. I meant to say earlier that some walls are more tennis-ball friendly than others. The smoother the wall, the more likely is the tennis ball to slip out from under you. A racquet ball works as well and offers a little more friction. Ann/CA
Guest guest
Sounds about right to me too. Enough pain with just the injury. donna
