Steph, I have not heard of Hydrocortisone causing s. I have heard of high doses of steroids causing Cushings. It is called steriod induced Cushings disease. However doses of Hydrocortisone that are no higher than your own body makes don't cause this. Perhaps he should read Dr. Jefferies book Safe Uses of Cortisol. A lot of doctors see adrenal problems as binary: Cushings (too much) or s (too little) and nothing in between.
