Guest guest Posted September 4, 2004 Report Share Posted September 4, 2004 hello. im worried about this question. during surgery are you aloud to wear earings? im going to die if i have to take out all of my jewelry. I have 14 earings (7 in each ear)and my tounge ring thats stretched, and if i have to take it out i'll start to shrink, and my nose ring is SO hard to get in that even the piercer has trouble with it! I know theres piercing retainers ofcourse but i dont want to buy 16 or them!!! I just took out my belly button barbell a couple days ago because it was really infected and i wanted it to close up before i saw Dr.K because i didnt want to have a big infected wound right where he would need to be " working " a couple months later, you know? I know during the surgery the body swells, but does your head swell? I mean like, your ears, nose, tongue, and stuff like that on your face?
