Hi Nichole,

That is awful. I know how you feel. I have been living in poverty for about 20

years now b/c i am chronically ill and I never asked for it either. I was a

junior in college when i became sick and the Dr.'s didn't know what to do so

here I am still sick and with more illnesses as time goes on. I had a great life

planned for myself but now have had to live in poverty instead. If you made $17

an hour, your life will surely change. I'm not sure what happend, i know you

spoke of WComp, if you will go back to work or get a settlement etc.??? Just

want to say you are not alone in the " what happend to my dream " category. It is

a shame that we who are ill must be forced to live in poverty and beg for

housing, food etc. I am in the review process right now for services for housing

assistance and health care assistance. Next year when my dad retires I even lose

my Medicaid that pays my RX's. Great law that one is. People think the sick have

a program for everything and are well taken care of

but it is geting worse all the time. I am glad your dad has a place for you to

live. I will find out next week if my HA goes through and how much I have to pay

from my disability check for rent. I just saw your post and had to say something

as I see how unfair things are. Sending good thoughts your way!

Annette
