Guest guest
Hi Mel & welcome, We're all seeking new natural or Rx " safe " medicines or modalities that help us feel better. Read all the posts. We're discussing them all. I'm still wondering what the heck an Intrathecal pain pump is. Sounds worth looking into. Guest guest
<< Hi Mel & welcome,>> Caroline, Hi...FYI my email addy is melback but my name is Ann and I've been here for a long time. The quote you have from me was actually something someone else wrote that I responded to. An Intrathecal pain pump or morphine pump as it is sometimes called is a implanted pump that delivers morphine (or other meds) directly to your spine. You use much less medicine (1/300th) of what you would use orally and it works well for some. I had a trial for one last month and got 60% pain relief and have decided to go ahead and have one implanted permanently in Oct.. I also have a spinal cord stimulator implanted and that gives me about 80% relief for the pain in my legs....just doesn't help the back...which is why I'm getting the pump. Anyway...hope that clears things up for you... Peace, Ann melback@... > We're all seeking new natural or Rx " safe " medicines or modalities that help us feel better. Read all the posts.
