Do you recommend any sites with the current childrens songs andnursery rhymes that would be useful for her to know ? (is there a sitewhere I can download them ?). She is in a very receptive phase - repeats back anything we tell her.We are teaching her numbers, colors, simple questions - whats yourname, how old are you.Do you think there will be a problem with her evaluation, since shecan communicate, but not in English, or they would ask me to ask herquestions, etc ? Any tips to how these evaluations go ?Tks a lotPat mum to , Brazil, going to NY.

Guest guest
I would imagine, especially in a large city like New York, that they would be able to have an evaluator who is fluent in Spanish (or Portugese) Just let them know ahead of time that she needs that. Here are a few sites: This is a cool site…has nursery songs from around the world…in English as well as the other languages. http://www.mamalisa.com/?t=eh here are more songs: http://bussongs.com This looks cute: http://www.nurseryrhymes4u.com KathyR From: DownSyndromeInfoExchange [mailto:DownSyndromeInfoExchange ] On Behalf Of McElwee Sent: Monday, September 01, 2008 12:02 PM To: DownSyndromeInfoExchange Subject: Re: [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Songs and nursery Rhymes I don't know if Sesame Street has any videos online...also Dora the Explorer uses both spanish and english Do you speek portuguese or spanish?)
