Have you seen a neurologist? You accident could have moved things around so

that nerves are being pinched.

ny- I get the same sensations down my left leg due to nerve

damage. I agree with the other poster...see a neurologist, or at

least your G.P. and have them check it out. Mine is permanent and is

called radiculapathy. It started before my first back surgery in 1998.

Hello Plumber,

From what you have stated in your post it sounds like what I experience.

I have nerve damage/impingment. My left leg is pretty much numb most of the

time and I do occasionally get that kind of stinging feeling. I also have

problems with my neck and suffer from terrible headaches. At this point I'm

thinking about having trigger point injections for it. It really scares me

tho. I have a real phobia about needles. You'd think I'd be used to them

after all the procedures/surgeries I've had done.

Have you had nerve conduction testing done? It's called an EMG. It would

tell the doctor how the nerve is sending signals basically.

Know that your not alone in your pain. This is a wonderful group of people

with lots of information and compassion. I look forward to getting to know

you.

ny's had trigger point injections (also afraid of needles!) with

little results, but I guess each case is different. It may help you...
