I know very little about it, other than it is an infectious based disease that is treated with powerhouse antibotics. I have had a couple of MRSA problems, mostly with little cuts that then become infected and turns into MRSA. Sounds like your MRSA is still active. If it is and you go into the hospital for more surgery, your infection could worsen and you could also pass it on to other people. Please check with your doctor. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/hip/Aresist/mrsafaq.htm -- Lyndi
Guest guest
medically resistant staph aureus - very tough to treat as it is resistant to a lot of antibiotics. Good luck. You will have to use very strong antibiotics to get rid of it. Be carefl with surgery and let surgeon know about the infection. Is anybody familar with MRSA Hey Everyone: As a consequence of my long hospital stay I took home a lovely little think called MRSA.

Guest guest
It is " Methicillin Resistant Staphlococcus Aureus " I work in a chronic wound center and we see a whole lot of this and it is very serious. You usually need to be treated by IV antibiotics that the infection is NOT resistant to. That is for the doctor and the lab to figure out. You definitely should not have any invasive procedures until this is cleared up. Good luck to you. wrote: As a consequence of my long hospital stay I took home a lovely little think called MRSA.
